Welcome furiends and cousins to this weeks Caturday Connections. This week I’m interviewing my feline cousins in Cornwall. I hope you all enjoy it!
Hi Guys! Tell us a little bit about yourselves.
Lola: I’m half ragdoll and the beautiful one. My dad adores me.
Nemo: Yep Lola’s the princess and I’m the loving one. I was the runt of the litter but I grew up to be huge and strong.
Cassidy: I’m a Bengal and an adventurer like you Bailey.
How do you spend an average day of your life?
Lola: I like to explore the fields and I’m a great mouse hunter.
Nemo: Sunbathing is my sport.
Cassidy: I like to do anything and everything. If I can get up to mischief I will!
Tell us about who you live with? Do you like them?
Lola: We live with mum and dad, two tortoises, lots of fish and three German Shepherds, Polly, Ria and Blossom. Currently Uncle Joe and his wife Donna are also living here with two turtles and two snakes too. We’re a very full house at the moment!
I’m especially interested in your relationship with the dogs. What’s it like living with a dog?
Cassidy: It’s pawesome! They’re great entertainment, I love to wind them up!
Nemo: I never thought I’d say this but I’ve actually grown very attached to them all. I love them all in different ways.
Lola: I tend not to socialize with them more than I have to but I’ve trained them to have a healthy respect for me.
I’m getting a puppy soon, do you have any tips on how to train her?
Nemo: When we got Blossom we’d already had some practice with Polly but each new puppy comes with new challenges. My advice would be to remain patient with them and do training little and often.
Cassidy: Just play with her, it’s the fastest way to become furiends.
Lola: You need to establish the social order quickly. The puppy needs to learn cats are superior to dogs.
Where’s your favourite place to relax?
Cassidy: On a lap or a chest I’m not fussy who it belongs to.
Nemo: On the picnic table outside in the sunshine.
Lola: Somewhere where the dogs can’t bother me.
What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done? (Don’t be shy it’s good to get it out in the open.)
Lola: I like to present live presents for the humans, but they got really upset when one of them, the baby bunny, started hopping around the bedroom. I also like to make the humans call for me for hours… I come home when I want to, not when they think it’s bedtime!
Nemo: I’m usually good but I’ve been in a few fights over the years and given the humans a scare.
Cassidy: I’m always in trouble but that’s why everybody loves me!
What are you dreams for the future?
Lola: I hope that one day everyone will recognize me as their true princess and treat me accordingly.
Nemo: I wish for daily sunshine.
Cassidy: I hope that I will continue to have new and varied adventures everyday.
If somebody asked you for advice and you only had a few minutes to give them your best tip, what would it be?
Lola: Live your life the way you want to…don’t let anybody tell you what to do.
Nemo: Treat others as you wish to be treated and you’re guaranteed ear scratches for life.
Cassidy: Live everyday to it’s fullest. Go for it, if there’s some food you can fish out of the saucepan, do it! If you’re not sure if you can make the jump, try it! Love life!
Do you have a website or social media channel where we can follow your future adventures?
We are too busy running the house, three German Shepherds and the rest of the zoo to engage in social media but we proudly tell everyone about our famous cousin!
Aww! Thank you guys! It’s been a purrleasure having you all and I appreciate the advice on puppy training!
Happy Caturday evfurryone!
