Still floating…

Furiends of course I’m happy that we’re still floating but my darling Nocturne was supposed to be coming out of the water today.

When we woke up this morning the weather wasn’t in the mood for cooperating. The strong wind and big swell would’ve added up to an unpleasant trip out of the marina, around the coast and up the canal to where the boat yard is. It also wouldn’t have been ideal conditions for Noccy to be swinging around in the travel lift. She’s (over)due to be lifted out onto the hard to have a clean and a few small bits of maintenance performed before we set sail for Greece. We can wait a day or two though to make the whole experience a lot more purr-leasurable.

Sleepy

Instead of being busy in the boat yard I’ve been napping all day conserving my energy! We’ll see what happens with the weather tomorrow! You have to be ready to write your plans in the sand at high tide when you live on a boat!

Bisous, Bailey

  1. Sounds like Noccy needs a shave – those whiskers can weight you down.

  7. For sure a boat kitty (and his humans) would need to stay flexible. Maybe tomorrow….
