Caturday Connections- Delightful Daisy!

Furiends welcome to this year’s first Caturday Connections! I have the honour of introducing you all to a very beautiful girl called Daisy! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Tell us a little bit about yourself Daisy.

I am a 12 year old ragdoll and live just outside of Detroit Michigan in the United States. I have been living in my current home since September of 2013 when my humans rescued me from a shelter and were kind enough to bring me into their forever home where we all enjoy each other very much.
There are two other ragdoll cats that live here as well. My sister is Siena and she is about the same age as I, and the youngest cat is two and his name is Bailey. He is a little stinker. Sometimes we get a long and play and other times he is chasing me around the house and I have to hiss at him to try and keep him away. Siena already lived here when I came and Bailey came here in 2014. I have attached a picture of all three of us eating treats together.

Wow! Another Bailey… what a great name! How do you spend an average day of your life?

I spend a lot of time taking very peaceful cat naps. When I am not snoozing I need to know what is going on everywhere in the house and enjoy walking around with my tail up. If I am in the family room watching television and I hear the other two cats moving around upstairs I must take off and see what exactly is going on.

I start most days greeting my human dad when he wakes up for work. We talk to each other and then he leaves for the day. By early afternoon I am settled in to a nice nap spot.

One of my favorite times is at night when my human dad gets all three of us ragdolls together and feeds us dry treats. I love treats!

Tell us about who you live with? Do you like them?

Besides my feline siblings I have my human mom and dad and they just had a human baby this past August. We are one big happy family! They are great people! They take very good care of me. Dad and I are best pals. Some people say that I am spoiled just a little bit but I don’t think so. There is also a cockatiel bird that lives here but he mostly keeps to himself in his cage.

Do you like meeting new furiends?

I love meeting new friends. When the doorbell rings I am usually one of the first to the door to greet whoever is there. The polite hostess I am will follow visitors around and insist they say hi to me.

What’s your favourite hobby?

My favorite hobby is taking naps.

Where’s your favourite place to relax?

My favorite place to relax is out back in what the humans call a Florida Room. It has a normal roof but glass windows all around that can open. There are screens that prevent me from going outside but it’s the closest I can get to actually being fully outdoors. It is usually opened up on nice weather days and I will relax out there and soak up the warm sun.

Have you ever been on a boat? Do you think you would like it?

I have never been on a boat. I think I would be scared! I have never been swimming and don’t know what would happen if I were to go in water. If I did agree to go on a boat I would insist on a special life preserver like you have.

What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done? (Don’t be shy it’s good to get it out in the open.)

Since my humans had a human baby there is a special room in the house that is now called the nursery. I am told that I’m not to go in there but that doesn’t sit right with me. I like full access everywhere. I have discovered that if I bump the door hard enough when it is closed it will sometimes open and I can go in there and check things out. Last week when I thought the humans were asleep dad must have heard me bump the door and he appeared in the room and I was busted! I scurried out as fast as possible. I still can’t believe he heard me enter!

What do you think your next big adventure in life will be?

My next big adventure is to carry out my feline duties and help raise Jeffrey, the humans baby and newest addition to the family. I will watch over him and I think we will have a lot of fun together. Especially when he learns to crawl and move around the house. I need to help ensure that he grows up to love cats just like his mom and dad.

Beautiful Daisy

Where’s the best place you’ve ever been?

I am a house cat and don’t like to travel. I have to say the best place I have ever been is where I am now.

If somebody asked you for advice and you only had a few minutes to give them your best tip, what would it be?

Everything is better after a nap.

Do you have a website or social media channel where we can follow your future adventures?

I don’t have a website or social media channel at this time. This will be my first public online appearance!

Wow Daisy, Concatulations on your furless brother Jeffrey! You will have so much fun training him to be your personal treat dispenser, I’m sure! I must admit to being quite over come by your beauty so I’m sorry for staring! Mum says she loves ragdolls because you are much calmer than Siamese… I’ll make her pay for that comment later! Thank you so much for pawticipating, big purrs to all of your family and wishing you all the very best for 2017.

Happy Caturday evfurryone!

Bisous, Bailey
