The puppies have already broken their Christmas presents!

I LOVE this time of year because there’s usually lots of new presents to play with and eat! I’ve been extremely lucky again this year and I’m exhausted after playing with all of my new toys!

April and Blue, however, have endless energy and are still very excited about their new Christmas presents.

Our dear furiends Pat, Maggie and Felix (from the Museum of Maritime Pets) sent us a beautiful parcel full of goodies and the terrible teenagers enjoyed destroying their gifts!

They are still enoying playing with the various dismembered parts though! Blue also had a present from the humans which has already broken, but I’ll tell you all about that tomorrow.

Bisous, Bailey

  1. oh dear what a mess! but it certainly looked like they had fun making it. Glad you have a nice safe place up high away from all of that where you can snooze.

  2. We had a wonderful Christmas to. We got lots of toys, but the best things we got were donations made in our names to our local No More Homeless Pets (a no kill shelter that does so many wonderful things.) They have a food bank, and free medical care for elderly and disadvantage pet owners, so that those people who otherwise couldn’t afford to keep their beloved pet companions are able to care for their pets and keep them. They also have lend traps and have free spay and neuter programs for folks who care for feral kitties.
Jacksonville is now a no kill community!
All of the donations made in December were matched by local corporation and philanthropists so that No More Homeless Pets received over a hundred thousand dollars. That’s a lot of Kibble.

  11. Breaking the toys is something like playing with the toys. There’s really not much difference.

    Love and licks,

  12. Mikey ate his gifts, too.

  13. My human says this is why she prefers not to have dogs, MOL!
