Hi Furiends and welcome to this weeks Caturday Connections! This week I have the purrleasure of welcoming my new furiend Loki! As you know he stayed here with my humans and I for a week and I thought you’d all like to get to know him better too!
Hi Buddy! Tell us a little bit about yourself…
My name is Loki, and I’m a 2 year old grey tabby moggy. My mum and dad adopted me from their old landlord in Rome- I was the last one left of my litter. My mum says though that even if she’d had the pick of all of my brothers and sisters she’d still have chosen me!
Who do you live with? Do you like them?
I live with my mum, Dad and human sister Darcy, who is also 2. I love them all, but Dad is my favourite. We men need to stick together!
Where have you lived?
I used to live in the Roman countryside, but now we live by a lake near Milan! I’m a well travelled moggy!
What’s your favourite thing to do?
My absolute favourite thing to do is chase imaginary flies around the living room whilst making weird yowling noises to make mum and dad laugh!
What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever seen?
I saw a duck land in our garden the other day and was pretty frightened! I’m used to the little birds that I see every day in the trees, and I love chasing the them when Mum isn’t looking, but this bird was as big as me! It gave me such a fright I ran and hid under mum and dads bed for an hour or so!
Where’s your favourite place to relax?
I do love leaving my fur on the family’s clean clothes whilst sleeping in the ironing pile, but my favourite place is my bed that mum bought me recently: it’s very stylish- giraffe print! And it has its own pillow! I crash out there in the evenings and get a really good nap. Mum says I sleep with my mouth open like an old man!
What will be your next big adventure?
Dad says we might be moving to England next year!
I’m quite excited as I’ve never been before, and I’d like to see where my family are from. But I have heard it’s also quite cold and rainy there so I’m worried I might not be able to explore as much as I’d like to.
If someone asked you for your best bit of advice what would it be?
No matter how tempting it might be, don’t play catch with your Dad’s toes in the middle of the night whilst he’s sleeping! The humans can get quite cross when I do that.
Do you have a website or social media channel where we can follow your future adventures?
Not to worry. I think you’re booked in for another quick stay next month and I’m happy to keep everyone up to date on your adventures! Thank you for coming Loki! Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Happy Caturday evfurryone!
