Moments like this…

Furiends as you know last summer when we sailed to Greece we arrived quite a bit further south than we’d intended! As we tied up to the wall in Kefalonia I felt so happy and proud that we’d sailed all the way from Italy to Greece with heavy winds and a big swell. It was one of the best moments of my furry life!

Nocturne in Kefalonia

At the time the humans and I briefly celebrated with a pawesome dinner, but we were so tired we slept straight after that. Of course the next day we were really busy getting the boat all cleaned up and sorted out. Moments are brief, but it’s so impawtant to savour them and remember them. When I remembered that moment randomly today, I felt really happy. What moments can you think of that make you happy?

Bisous, Bailey

  1. My dad says, he keeps a book of memories in his heart, that bring joy to quiet moments, and sustain him in difficult times. It sounds like you do to my friend.
Life is a series of moments we should treasure them all.

  2. Beautiful photo Bailey. I see the tall windmills for creating energy run across the top of the hills of Greece. They are all over the world I guess.

  3. Looking at Nocturne tied up at that dock is one of those. The photo itself is so peaceful. Mom says she can close her eyes and imagine being there. XOCK from your brofur and sisfurs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, MistyMay, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  7. I know exactly how you feel, Bailey, one of my happiest memories are of Christmas Eve in 1983, when we sailed into English Harbour in Antigua after 28+ looong days at sea. I’m sure you’ll have that adventure one day too. Meanwhile, I hope your humans find you a nice pad to live in in Milano and that you don’t get landsick! Take care all of you.
