No love lost between the lobsters!

Furiends as I said before the lobsters have been fighting and I was hoping that their new palace would solve the problem, but unfortunately although they’re sisters there’s no love lost when it comes to prime palace real estate… They’ve had to be separated.

So I’ve adjoined their old tiny space to the new palace now they both have two levels all to themselves.

Lobster apartments

They both have a lovely apartment complete with food and water, wooden nibble areas, gym areas and cosy bedroom areas. They are both absolutely loving it and so am I! It’s great fun watching them run up and down the tubes!

Separate lobsters

The only person who’s not amused is dad… He’s whinging that their palace has taken over the whole of the navigation station… Since they won’t be coming sailing with us and will soon be living on land I think we’ll get away with it!

  1. They do seem to be commandeering the whole boat! Ugh. I’m happy they’ve settled in and are enjoying the separation.

  2. It has been many, many years since I had a hamster, but from what I remember, the females are very territorial, and I was told the female has to be introduced to the male’s cage, not the other way around. Good luck with your lobster crew mates, Bailey!

  3. Doesn’t it seem as though they could learn to share with each other, Well, I guess they aren’t as friendly as cats.

Bailey, the lobsters are so cute. Sorry that they cannot live together. It sounds like Lisbeth and Astrid. Though not true sisters, they were raised by the same mom and were inseparable when we adopted them. Now…forget about it! 14. hamsters are not ‘community’ animals. VERY territorial once they reach sexual maturity. best ‘group’ small rodents are rats and mice (rats more fun as they are very social and easily trained!).
