Shiney new shroud!

We’ve got a shiney new shroud! The old one had a broken strand…

Broken strand

It doesn’t look too bad but obviously it could become a big problem so it needed to be sorted.

Shocking shroud

I packed the humans off in the dinghy to go and get a new one made.

Dinghy trip for the shroud

It was all done and dusted in the day. We now have a VERY shiney new shroud and I’m a happy boat cat again!

Today we’ve sailed (well mostly motored) up to Lakka on the island of Paxos. We saw dolphins on the way and I’ve got some pawesome photos on the big camera to share later. It’s stunning here. I love the colour of the water and I’m sure you’ll all love the photos I’m going to post tomorrow!

Bisous, Bailey

  2. One of those popping in a storm could result in needing a different kind of shroud (if they recover the body, that is!).

  9. New rigging every 10 or 12 years is a must… It’s your insurance policy, Bailey, and if one shroud is failing chances are all are about to do it!
