Pawesomeness + inspirational = Miss Isle

I’ve been following the most inspirational young lady for a little while now. Yesterday my humans, Blue and Sharkie had the honour and pleasure of meeting her and her family. The beautiful Natasha Lambert is my hero. She’s PAWESOME!

Blue and Sharkie meet Natasha

Natasha recently completed her Sea and Summit Challenge, sailing from Cowes in the Isle Of Wight around the south coast of England and across to Wales. Once she arrived in Wales she left her boat and climbed Pen y Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales using her specialized walking frame! She’s raised over £13,500 for that challenge with the money being distributed between three different charities: The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, The RNLI and The RYA Foundation. As you know furiends I’m a HUGE fan and supporter of the RNLI and I believe Natasha’s other chosen charities are also very worthy.

Natasha has athertoid cerebral palsy but don’t for one minute think that stops her. She’s the bravest, most get up and go sailor I know! She has a pawesome little sister and her parents and Aunty are lovely. I really wanted her to have a pawtographed copy of my book and I’m delighted that she was so happy to receive it.

Natasha!

My humans were in awe of Natasha’s boat. Her dad (a very talented human) has designed a special system for her and she can control her boat with a special sip/puff system. (Visit Natasha’s website for all the details.)

Please furiends do pop over to visit my new furiend Natasha on her site and say ‘hi’. Simply click here. This young lady is destined for big and beautiful adventures and I truly hope I can meet her whisker to pawsomeness one day. I love her!

Beautiful young lady

Bisous, Bailey

  10. Bailey, you have a knack for finding pawsome furriends, and you are to be contratulated on finding Natasha. Kitties like you (and even, dare I suggest, dogs) would be able to take on Natasha’s cause and make it their own! Congratulations on being out front on this wonderful cause. Pat
