Last day in paradise!

Today is, unfortunately, our last day out on anchor. Tomorrow we have to head back to our marina in Rome. It will be a long day, depending on the wind (and the swell) it will take us approximately 11 hours.

So today we’ve been making the most of our last day! Yesterday we had a beautiful sail from Elba to Giglio and we loved waking up to the crystal clear water this morning. The humans made the most of it by jumping straight in to go snorkelling. We got some great photos which I’ll share with you when we get back.

Although we’ve been to this beautiful island a few times now, we’ve never actually been into the town so this afternoon the humans took Nippy around the point into town. They hired a scooter for 10 euros for an hour and zipped around the island.

I took the time to relax and chill out under Nauti. Making sure to keep watch of course!

Now we’re all back on Noccy enjoying the last of the sunshine. I’ll be making sure the humans get an early night tonight ready for our big day tomorrow!

  2. Well Bailey – I know you, your Mom and Dad will all miss sailing day after day and enjoying life at sea but soon you’ll be back at it again – it’s been a wonderful “trial” of what it will be like and other than one “oops” with the anchor – everything has been wonderful! Enjoy your sail back to Rome!

That holiday certainly went by very quickly. We enjoyed seeing the lovely area where you sailed and anchored, and look forward to seeing more photos from your adventure. Have a safe trip home. 5. Wow, that was a quick holiday…bet you think so too. I’d say your mom and dad are ready to tackle the open sea full time. What do you think Bailey. There was only one difficulty and that was with the anchor. Pretty darned good!
