Meeting the brains behind my book!

Furiends I’ve had the most pawesome weekend! The brains behind my book, a human called Jessica Cole, came to visit me! She came with sardines and catnip bubbles so although I was already indebted to her, I also loved her at first sight! She came with her partner James and my humans and I had a great time with both of them.

Jess was the senior editor at Adlard Coles Nautical (an imprint of Bloomsbury) which, after a chat with James, I think should now be known as Adlard Coles Pawtical! Jess saw my blog and loved it. She sent me an email and asked if I’d be interested in writing a book and the rest, as they say, is history. She’s since left that position and now has another really cool job at Lonely Planet. I was so honoured that she came all the way to Rome just to see ME!

I got lots of really good ear rubs which are always well received!

We took Jess and James sailing yesterday. The weather was purrfect and Noccy showed off, sailing beautifully. I think she knew they were very impawtant guests!

I enjoyed watching them all get wet from the comfort of the cockpit!

I loved having them come to stay and I’m very happy and lucky to have two new furiends for life.
