Pawesome presents and hope for the hole!

I’m so happy! The humans brought me a present back from the boat show. A book all about cats on ships!

It’s such a thoughtful present and I know I’m going to love reading all about the adventurous felines that have lived on boats throughout history.

Mum’s dad also picked out his purrfect present at the boat show… He was very taken by, and would very much appreciate, the new Land Rover.

His birthday is in August but since the cost of the Land Rover would pay for a lifetimes supply of cat treats (that’s all nine lives) and still have pots of money left over, I think he may be wishfully thinking! Maybe he’d like it if we all bought him a book… I’ll have to think about it! Plenty of time yet.

The humans loved seeing Captain Tony at the boat show too! I’m very jealous that I didn’t get to see him, I hope he comes to visit me soon. They all enjoyed good food and catching up.

From left to right there’s dad, Captain Tony, mum, mum’s dad John, and Marco who also has a boat on our pontoon in Rome.

I’m glad to report that although the humans spent lots of time admiring beautiful boats, they did also get down to business and there’s new hope for the hole! It’s almost sure (I say almost because it’s not actually been ordered yet) that it will be filled with this little beauty from Raymarine.

So all in all, a great end to the week! I’m exhausted now!

I hope you all have a pawesome weekend!

Bisous Bailey

  1. Happy reading.

  2. Your kitty looks like my BOO Kitty! Great share!

  3. Judy & C.A.T.S says:

We hope you enjoy your new book. Before we met you we didn’t know that cats lived on boats. We are fascinated with this. We are happy that the trip was fun and that they found an autopilot. Your Mum’s dad had good taste in vehicles. It would be really nice to have a Land Rover! Love, Cali, Andy, Tater and Shelly (C.A.T.S)

  4. Your new book looks really interesting, but some of those stories look as if they have pretty sad endings. Looks like for humans had lots of fun with their friends. We still think you should have been allowed to accompany them. Love, Purrs and hugs your sisfurs and brofur, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  5. YAY! Mission accomplished! My Mom says “who wouldn’t like to have that Land Rover!!!” so your Dad’s not the only one admiring it. Also, when I saw the photo of all of you at the table – I recognized Capt. Tony before I read that it was HIM !! I remember him from your blog post about him and his kindness and friendship. I hope he visits you soon and I’m also happy that “THE HOLE” is about to be filled!

    Hugs, Sam

  6. That’s a great present your humans brought you, Bailey.

  7. What an awesome book, Bailey! And how cool to know you are part of an ancient tradition…

  8. Just convert your book into something they call a Best Cellar (it must be far underground) and you can buy that bee-yoo-tee-fool buggy for them – and for you to be transported in proper comfort while on land too, of course.

  9. No wonder you are tired with so much to report, Bailey. Rest well 🙂
