Jellyfish patrol.

This year we’ve seen thousands of jellyfish around the Mediterranean. They have even been in the news because they seem to have exploded in numbers this year. Obviously I can’t have my humans swimming in amongst jellyfish, so I’m vigilant on my jellyfish patrols before I allow them into the water.

Once in a while I take a really good look and scan the whole area.

Then I continue my paw patrol around the boat before deciding if the waters are safe for a swim or not. So far so good! My method had been working with the sting count at zero!

Bailey as usual mew continue to AMAZE me! MEW ROCK! I love how brave and comfortable and a true Captain of the Nocturne mew are. I admit I do worry when mew get so close to the edge of the boat, even though I know mew are strong and have exceptional balance. I’m glad mew wear mewz life jacket during circumstances when mewz humans feel is warranted or they are not able to keep mew in their line of sight every moment.
CONCATULATIONS on mewz upcoming book! How pawesome to be a published author! I cannot wait until next spring to reserve my copy, and I hope maybe mew can pawtograph it for me. It is certain to be a bestseller! I suggest mew remind mewz humans that mewz royalties should be put in an account under MEWZ name, so mew can go online and order mewz favorite twqaaoys, nip, noms, and treats. After all, mew worked hard to write it. Mew can of course allow them a percentage
they are mewz humans– 5% sounds mozmnre than fair to me.’MOL!

  6. Bailey that jellyfish patrol is certainly helpful to your humans but you be careful my friend – imagine if YOU fell in there (I know you can swim since you’ve done it before) with all those jellyfish! OUCH OUCH OUCH!!!!! Anyway, bravo to you my brave buddy.

  7. Just make sure you don’t fall into the water while on patrol. When they sting you, it can hurt a lot.

  8. Dude…aren’t you a little nervous about falling in the water? Or are you one of those rare kats that like to swim??

Good job protecting your humans from those nasty jellyfish. What good is a “fish” that can’t be eaten, anyway!!

    Shrimp (paws up)!

  9. Careful Bailey, you dont want to go swimming and surely not with the Jelly Fish. Here’s a link to Mini when she went swimming, third photo down and it is NOT pretty. http://laststarblog.wordpress.com/2012/09/07/good-day-for-some-bad-day-for-others/

  14. Our mommy is super afraid of jellyfish; even though, she has never been stung. Whenever she is snorkeling and she sees one, she immediately swims as fast as she can in the other direction. We are really glad that you are keeping the waters safe for your humans. That second photo looked like you were ready to jump and go for a swim yourself. That got us a little frightened. Glad you stayed onboard. Purrs and hugs your sisfurs and brofur, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
