Dealing with disappointed humans!

Remember my humans were really excited about going to do a sea survival course that we got dad for his birthday. You can re-read about it here.

Well we’ve had some bad news… The company that they were due to do the course with in September, after months of anticipation, emailed yesterday to let us know they’ve ceased to trade. Mum and her family spent a lot of money on the course and we’re not sure if we will be able to get it back because it was paid on a debit card not a credit card and of course it was dad’s birthday present…sad times.

Even though we’re upset, I feel especially sorry for the poor people who’ve lost their jobs and business. We will have to find another course another time and hopefully this means instead of the humans jetting off to London on leave to do a course, we can all go sailing for a few days instead! Every cloud has a silver lining!

I’ve still got big news to share with you all and that’s making my humans happy too which is pawesome!

Bisous Bailey

  3. That is really most disappointing. You’ll have to work at it to restore his spirits. Maybe you could teach him some of your balancing skills?

  4. Interesting… the vocabulary between your English and ours…”Cease to trade”, meaning they are “out of business”? Sorry to hear that.

Maybe if they stopped because of financial legalities instead of something like a partnership difference, they could be persuaded to still give a private training course.

  8. Oh how disappointed all of you must be but I see that you’re doing your best to console your Dad Bailey by being a lap-kitty which humans appreciate and find very relaxing (and we love!!). Hopefully you’ll be able to get the money back and find another course – in the meantime we’re all just dying to know what the OTHER big news is!!

Dear dear little Bailey Boat Cat:

AHHH, I am soooooo sorry that this happened to your humans. That type of thing happens over here in the United States all too much, too. I feel big time for your humans…..and pray and hope that they recover their funds. Tell them to NOT give up….there are all kinds of protections, too, for debit cards, which is the only kind I have. Tell them to persist just like you do in your many adventures, ventures aboard the boat….okay!!!

We all love you…you are sooooo cute and love your postings. I read them faithfully daily and you give joy daily.

love, Charlene and Cheeto, 11 year old kitty, orange and white…half Ragdoll.

oh, oh, go to: http://www.coachellavalleyfun.com and read Cheeto’s human’s story published this week about Elvis Presley and go to http://www.coachellavalleynews.com and read the TEAM BOGEY one…a little ten year old Maltese doggies went missing…actually both of the stories are on the news.com sight…thanks…
