Really entertaining rescue!

My humans are in Cornwall in the UK. Yesterday they went down to The Lizard Lifeboat Station open day. They got to meet some of the crew and watch a practice rescue!

The photos look pawesome! I wish I’d been there to enjoy it too! The man overboard let off an orange daytime flare to help identify his location. I’ve put a link to a video of the rescue on my Facebook page.

The humans also got to look around ‘Rose’ the lifeboat. I’ll share some of those photos with you tomorrow. I’m happily here looking after the turtles and waiting for the humans to come back tomorrow!

Fun. When Dad was boating, back when there were pterodactyls, he helped make a video for the Philadelphia Police Marine Unit. He had a stink pot and said it was really hard to go slow enough so his boat and the chase police boat were in frame. A good time was had by all.

  2. Wow, that looks cool!

  3. That rescue was so pawesome. We’ll look forward to seeing pics from inside the boat. We’ve been thinking about the turtles and wondering how they’re doing. Glad to hear you’re keeping an eye on them. Have a great week. Purrs and hugs from your sisfurs and brofur, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
