Oh my boat dog!

Yesterday we anchored next to Nocturne’s sister! The humans and I were very excited as we came into the anchorage because we all thought it may have been another Tayana 37! It turned out to be a Toshiba 40 which was also designed by Robert Perry!

It’s such a beautiful boat, it looks so similar to my beloved Nocturne!

The best part about seeing this boat and anchoring next to it, was that I got to meet Zoe the boat dog and her humans! They’ve sailed all the way from America and have been cruising around the Med since 2006. Zoe’s pawesome and at 15 years of age she had so much advice and information for a young boat cat like me! I loved chatting to her. I’m always a little weary of dogs generally but as soon as I met pretty little Zoey the boat dog I knew she was special.

She’s a little hard of hearing so I had to lean in to chat to her.

I love listening to seasoned cruisers! I always learn so much from them, Zoe gave me some advice on how to keep the humans under control out at sea. Invaluable help for a cruising cat learning the ropes! She said I was a very handsome boat cat and that she loved my blue eyes! So I gave her a little kiss.

What a fabulous start to the week!
