Good news and bad news!

I’m in Nice waiting to be chauffeured down to Rome to start our holiday. I’ve got itchy paws I’m so excited to sail off in Nocturne to beautiful islands and crystal clear waters. The plan was, as most of you know, to leave tomorrow around lunchtime…

I’m not impressed because the humans have announced today that due to unforeseen work commitments it will now be Tuesday that we travel down.

I know it’s only one day extra to wait, but I’m impatient and just want to get there now! This is just another one of the reasons that I can’t wait until we’re cruising full time, because then the only thing to stop us will be the weather!

On the plus side, I get to spend an extra day with my pet turtles who are growing so fast they look like little monsters now!

It also gives me an extra day to keep working on my dad’s present. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve made! I’ll have to wrap it tomorrow evening and then be patient until his birthday on the 13th to see if he likes it! His first birthday treat will be when we arrive in Rome, we’ve invited some of our lovely friends around to the boat, to celebrate before we sail off. I can’t wait!

I’m busy preening now to make sure I look my best for the party!

  7. Gosh Bailey – I know you’re disappointed but after all, you’ll have extra time with the turtles and for grooming so it’s not “all bad”……then you can get started on your holiday!! I’m sure your parents are as anxious as you are – believe me! Can’t wait to see what you made for your Dad’s birthday…………..

  14. Farley loves sea turtles. They provide him with hours of entertainment as he watched them swim by our boat. Sometimes I think they’re teasing him. Aren’t animals entertaining.
