First swim of the year!

The humans are happy because mum’s dad John and brother Joe are visiting. So yesterday they took Nocturne out and enjoyed the sunshine.

The boys decided it was nice enough to swim, so they dropped the hook and…

Apparently it was fresh rather than cold, but mum didn’t believe them so she decided to stay on deck and take the photos! I think she had the right idea!

The boys then all enjoyed a nice cold one to celebrate the first swim of the year!

I’m enjoying spending time with Elizabeth and the turtles. Holidays soon! Life is good aboard Nocturne!

  1. I think your mum was wise to stay out of the water.

  2. Looks like a beautiful day but I think I’d be just like your Mum and watching the guys instead of IN the water! Bailey you look VERY comfy on deck……enjoying the sun…….

    Kitty Hugs, Sam

  3. Kitty, I did not see you swimming??? Looks quite nice, that water!

  4. Lorna Mitchell says:

  5. Good idea staying on deck!

  6. She was wise to take pictures.

  7. I envy you! You live the good life! 😛

  8. It’s better to keep the furs dry.

  9. It looks like a nice time, Bailey! Although honestly, I don’t understand the human desire to be wet!

  10. Looking good Bailey. Just getting a bit cold for swimming here down the bottom of the world!

  11. Looks like a great day for all, especially you, Bailey. Here’s to the upcoming holidays. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

  12. My mum loves to swim. In fact, she’s swum in 50-60 degree F (ocean and pool). I think she’s crazy. Bailey has it right! Bask in the sun. HMC

  13. I think your mummy made the right decision!

  14. LOL/MOL I thought ‘Oh no, Bailey ended up in the water again testing his new PFD’!!!!! I am glad you & Mum were dry & warm topside while the men were off swimming 😉
