For the first time this year we have finally turned on the heating! Now I know alot of you have probably had it on for months but today, well this evening really, is a first for us. We moved to the flat here in Nice in the Summer, and this is the first time that we have used the air conditioning as heating. Ever! (Only because we couldn’t figure it out yesterday!) It’s actually still 6 degrees outside, but today there’s been some light wind and rain so it has definitately felt like winter. The humans don’t have any fur so they tend to feel the cold more, especially the female variety for some reason. Not sure why. Mum says something about being warm hearted but that doesn’t make any sense to me. I’m usually warm enough with my velvety fur coat, but I never complain if there’s sunshine to lounge in. I wanted a little bit more warmth yesterday so I got snuggled up in a sleeping bag and pointedly hinted, that perhaps it was time for the heating to be turned on….
My wish was granted! It turns out this heating marlarky is quite nice. I don’t need to curl up so I’m leisurely strecthed out enjoying the warmth of the flat. I LOVE the heat! I hope it’s not turned off any time soon!
Are you feeling the cold at the moment or are you lucky enough to still have the sunshine?
So glad you are keeping warm Bailey! It was bitter with us yesterday but might reach the giddy heights of 17 degrees on Wednesday 😀

You most certainly DO look snug as a bug in that sleeping bag…..and stretched out on the couch…..heat is great. I like to lie on top of the fleece blanket that is on the back of the couch………there’s a heating vent behind the couch so the heat drifts right up to me as I lie there – it’s like having a private sauna. NICE!
Keep warm Bailey…………..

Glad you’re much warmer with the heating on. It’s kind of hard to watch for birds from under the covers.

What a beautiful kitty you are — oops, handsome, I mean! Yes, it’s cool here, but my window seat is directly over a heat vent! Sweet!

Oh no human feet aren’t comfy… I prefer my own spot on the sofa. On the boat If I really stretch out the humans don’t get a look in! It’s MY sofa! hehe! Bisous Bailey
