Lock in!

All’s well that ends well!

Elizabeth came back with the key this morning and came straight to see me and the little ninja turtles. She stayed and played with me until mum came home from work and she could let her in.

Mum and I spent the rest of the afternoon playing and cleaning out the turtles. Mum was tired after work and her night in the hotel so we had a little snuggle too. I got some cat milk as an apology for the keys causing chaos and being left on my own and of course some treats!

We searched high and low for the keys and eventually we found them here…

You see way up there on top of the kitchen cupboards? There’s some of my things, then some spare orange juice and a packet of kitchen roll… Well, when mum came home the day before yesterday she had the packet of kitchen roll in her hand and the keys must’ve slipped in. She didn’t notice when she threw the packet up on top of the cupboards and then of course in her panic before work she didn’t think to look up there! What a muppet of a mum!

So I’ve decided I’m going to lock her in until she can be trusted to look after the keys and use the front door properly! I can relax now! No more panicking! Phew!

Bisous Bailey

  1. That is one of the most creative situations for a set of lost keys!

Muppet of a mum indeed! :) glad the Elizabeth came and that mom and you had a snuggle:) Get that key hook up by the door or in a prominent place please.

  3. So glad your Mum found the keys BUT I still vote for the “hook by the door for all keys” thing….hopefully your Mum will listen to your VERY sensible suggestion Bailey!!

  8. Bailey, tell your Mum she needs to put her keys on a loop and always snap them on the hook that comes with most purses. It’s a great habit and really saves time looking for lost keys.

What a place to find the keys! To get extra snuggles, cat milk and play with your neighbor, that made up for your inconvenience.
